What is a bike train?

A bike train is a parent-led group of students biking to school. We’re encouraging active transportation and environmentally friendly alternatives to single occupancy vehicles.

Who can join?

All elementary students at Hastings are welcome to join. We ask that students younger than third grade are accompanied by a cycling adult. Community members are welcome to cheer as the train goes by, or join if you’d like!

The Bike Train leaders are actually the @srts_ma team at Hastings too. Check out the new signs that will help keep all the bikers AND walkers safer on campus! And of course they were delivered via @larryvsharry cargo bike!
